Final Exam/Presentation topics

I have challenged you to submit topics of study for your service learning placements. Please read through the syllabus and select an issue that you find interesting and relevant. I would like to read a paragraph explaining what your particular issue of study will be and why you chose it. The submition is due on Monday the 29th of October. Best of luck.

A reminder that I won't be in class this upcoming Monday the 22nd of October as I will be schleping through central Europe with YC Olami. Please use your extra time this week wisely - seize the day - write your journals!

Journal Week 3

I am looking forward to reading your improved journal entries. Please submit by 5 PM on sunday. Again, if you are not sure what to write, consult pages 206-207 in the sourcebook.

Homework for next class

For those who weren't in class or forgot to write it down - for our next class I would like you to read the article on Role Modeling on pages 145-153. Be sure to think about in relation to your volunteering.
